Relationship Manager

As one of our Relationship Managers, you’ll be a key business contact for a portfolio of customer accounts and provide great customer experience to all of our customers.

Reports To: Relationship Team Leader

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Type: Permanent


What We Need from Yü:

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of customer accounts ensuring a great customer experience is delivered to Yü Energy’s customers
  • Provide solutions to the broad range of written and verbal enquiries raised by customers
  • Seek to deliver a successful first contact resolution wherever possible
  • Liaison with non-customer facing teams to handle complex customer enquiries and resolve the enquiry with the customer
  • Proactively recognise opportunities to take customer payments
  • Ensure that all customer enquiries are managed, resolved and closed within agreed timescales
  • Manage customer onboarding – production and issue of welcome packs.
  • Managing any customer complaints
  • Processing of customer changes of tenancy
  • Support the collection and maintenance of customer data to enable efficient servicing of customers
  • Manage the renewal and retention of customer accounts
  • Management of contract terminations
  • Production of renewal offers
  • Management product switches for customers wanting to move to fix term contract and maintenance of correct prices in the system

  • Experience within a busy customer services/operations environment
  • Confident in handling written correspondence and inbound and outbound calls
  • Driven to provide an excellent customer service with a timely, successful resolution of customer enquiries
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to diagnose problems and offer solutions
  • Requires high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work at pace and with ambiguity in a changing business
  • Able to consistently display the Yü Energy habits
  • Experience in the energy industry is preferred
  • A right first time and continuous improvement attitude to all internal process and procedures and that of external stakeholders
  • GCSE, Grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent
