Relationship Team Apprentice

Customer Care prides itself with providing the best customer experience to all YU Energies stakeholders. The team ensures that calls are answered within 3 rings providing resolution on the call and/or taking ownership of queries until the query is resolved.

Working Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Reporting to: Relationship Team Leader

Your Role

To support the Relationship Managers with queries from external and internal stakeholders. The role will also include learning & development of day to day support of queries and meeting designated deadlines. This role will provide gaining essential employments skills such as time keeping, organisation, prioritisation & relationship building at all levels.  Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Learning to assist with inbound & outbound email queries
  • Assisting with email inboxes and managing time
  • To build effective relationships with existing and new customers.
  • To communicate courteously with all stakeholders by telephone, e-mail and Live Chat, building positive relationships and progressing issues and queries to a successful conclusion at the earliest time.
  • Developing skills to manage deadlines and stake holders expectation
  • Learning & developing written and numerical skills
  • Assisting with recording written information on systems.
  • Producing reports and statistical data
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
  • To uphold confidentiality always regarding Yu Energy’s customers and business.

Essential Skills/Qualifications

  • GCSE, Grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Willing to learn & develop new skills
  • A good accuracy of attention to detail required
  • Must be polite, with a friendly manner and able to build rapport easily.
  • Able to manage time effectively

Desirable Skills

  • Flexible, adaptable and a strong team player
  • Confident in handling written correspondence
