Third-Party Performance Manager

Reports to: Head of Debt and Commercial
Location: Hybrid (Nottingham office)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

The successful Third-Party Performance Manager will work closely with Business Owners
across Yü that are responsible for establishing and maintaining a variety of Third-Party
supplier and outsourcing relationships.

The primary function of the role will be to support the Business Owners in achieving
optimised commercial value and reducing the risks associated with such relationships
throughout their lifecycle.

This will typically be to set and deliver the credit management strategy, objectives and
KPI’s for all activities with our Third-Party partners by providing effective strategic
operational direction, governance and oversight and building and maintaining excellent
stakeholder relationships.
We are seeking someone ideally at the CICM qualification level 5 or similar with extensive
third-party management experience ideally within the utilities sector, you will be an
experienced leader of teams willing to coach and mentor.

What We Need From Yü

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

– Lead the Group’s third-party and outsource partner’s network.
– Manage 3rd party outsourcing arrangements to ensure appropriate value for
money (ROI).
– Partner with appropriate stakeholders to ensure that supplier and outsourcing
relationships are managed in line with our standards and procedures;
establishing new processes where necessary to ensure consistent supplier
management across the business.
– Liaison with other debt teams to resolve customer issues and improve collection
operational processes.
– Support the design and implementation, with the business transformation team,
so as to implement new collection strategies. Deliver such campaigns through
3rd party outsources, and via increasing digital technologies.
– Compile and analyse monthly management reports to show the cost,
movements, trends and risks across our third-party supplier base.

Process Improvements

– Review, Identify and deliver Credit Control process improvements that will
benefit the function and wider business.
– Collaborate with the team, finance function and wider business to deliver
process improvements and projects.


Provide reports and statistics to the senior management team on a weekly/monthly basis, including:

– Return on investment (ROI) for each specific relationship under management
– Overall performance reporting of relevant process measurements
– Develop and monitor critical metrics / KPIs.
