Why Am I Changing Supplier?


Squeaky are focusing on work around Power Purchase Agreements with Corporate and Public Sector organisations and so have decided to exit the SME sector and transfer their supply customer portfolio to Yü Energy who are an established business energy provider and can deliver service better tailored to you as customer.

Will my billing be affected?


No. You will receive a final bill from Squeaky during December 2021 and then to make things easy for you, your Direct Debit will then switch to Yü Energy – so please don’t cancel it.


Customers paying by BACS will receive payment information from us in plenty of time for the first payment in January 2022.


We will reach out to you over the coming days to answer any questions on billing.


 


Will I have to pay more?


We will honour the price of your fixed term Squeaky contract for the duration of the contract.


 


Will there be any disruption to my electricity supply?


None at all. Please rest assured that your electricity supply will continue uninterrupted.


 


What happens to my contract?


As you are on a fixed contract with us, the length and contract prices will remain the same. You will be moved onto Yü Energy’s Terms & Conditions, and these will be sent to you.


 


What day will the transfer happen?


The transfer will happen on 1 December 2021. You will receive a bill from Squeaky in December for your usage up to the point of transfer.


 


Should I take a meter reading?


Please make a note or take a picture of your meter reading(s) and keep them somewhere safe.


 


Will the energy I receive be 100% clean and green?


You will be moved to our Pure Green electricity tariff which guarantees 100% clean and green energy from UK wind farms, backed by wind energy REGOs.


 


What if I have a credit balance?


If you have a credit balance this will be protected and transferred to Yü. It will be offset against your first Yü bill.

We will honour your current rates for 30 days. You will also be offered the chance to move onto a competitive fixed price 100% green tariff.

None at all. Please rest assured that your electricity supply will continue uninterrupted.


 


What happens to my contract?


You will be moved onto Yü Energy’s Terms & Conditions, these will be sent to you.


 


What day will the transfer happen?


The transfer will happen on 1 December 2021. You will receive a bill from Squeaky in December for your usage up to the point of transfer.

You can choose to switch to a fixed rate contract in order to be supplied with 100% green electricity via  our Pure Green electricity tariff which guarantees 100% clean and green energy from Carno windfarm in Wales, backed by wind energy REGOs.
