How to pay for your energy

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to pay for your energy. So however you wish to pay for your energy – we’re here to help. Find out below, the various different payments methods we accept from you.

Our customers normally pay by monthly Direct Debit. The Direct debit is set based on your estimated consumption, should your consumption change your Direct Debit will be updated.  You will always be given 10 days notice of any change. We aim to review your Direct Debit twice a year to ensure you have a zero balance at your anniversary date.

Paying by Direct Debit is a convenient and easy way to pay and your bank statement will show as Yü Energy Retail Ltd. Yü Energy is the trading name of Yü Energy Retail Ltd. You will receive a Quarterly statement.

You can pay by cash or cheque at any Post Office offering the MoneyGram service. Before you pay, they may ask you for identification, like a passport or UK driving license, and for Yü Energy’s bank account details. Once you’ve paid for your energy, they’ll provide you a reference and send the payment to ourselves.

To pay by cheque, make your cheque is payable to Yü Energy Retail Ltd, and write your Yü Energy account number or statement number on the back:

Post your cheque to: Yü Energy, CPK House, 2 Horizon Place, Nottingham Business Park, Mellors Way, Nottingham, NG8 6PY.

You’ll pay a unit charge for each kWh of energy use and a standing charge, together with any other charges for additional services that apply to your supply.  The rates are inclusive of 5% VAT.
