NFU Members Help Raise £5,000 Through Energy Renewals with Yü Energy
We’re very pleased to have worked together with NFU Energy to help raise £5,000 for two air ambulance charities that provide life-saving support to rural communities. A lot of our customers are based in rural and farming communities, where access to emergency services like air ambulances can make a real difference. Supporting that felt important.
Working alongside NFU Energy, we supported the “Renew your energy and help save lives” campaign, as part of this campaign, 224 NFU members renewed their energy contracts with Yü Energy. Every eligible renewal contributed towards the final donation, helping us reach the £5,000 total.
This initiative gave members access to competitive gas and electricity renewal prices through the collective buying power of the NFU, NFU Cymru and NFU Scotland, while also giving them the opportunity to support a cause that makes a real difference.
When the opportunity came up to be part of an initiative that not only offered value to customers but also gave something back to the communities they live and work in, it was something we were very proud to support. For many farming and rural businesses, air ambulance services are a vital lifeline when every second matters, which made this campaign especially close to home.
The funds have been split equally, with £2,500 donated to The Air Ambulance Service and £2,500 donated to Cornwall Air Ambulance, helping both charities continue their vital work across rural areas.
